Nice Normal Family Day

The kids bounced out of bed enthusiastic about their field trip to Hale Farm (a historical farm) and after squeezing in a Happy Birthday Bampa phone call, I had to van them at top speed around the circle to catch the bus at the next stop after they missed it. I made Upper East Side Pasta which was a big hit for Lynn and I, but the younger critics circle panned it -- they were much more eager to get back out to their Brick Making Factory anyways after supper so they went back out while I finished Monster, the book for Lynn's all school read (this week and last).
