Fridays Should Always Be For Winding Down

The day felt measured and manageable: normal teaching and meetings, but then a few moments at the end of the day to get a clear complete view of just how far behind I am - even if the news is bad, the clarity of perspective is good. Had a really fun night running errands with Jaelyn (a quest to find Singing In The Rain) and hanging out with Addison (while the girls shopped for candles, he and I played connect four, football and worked on the epic book that we've been writing together for several months) -- and to top EVERYTHING off -- SOPHIA was born.
