On the Edge of Freezing

On Monday it had been 60+ degrees, so we weren't all that thrilled to step outside to find close to freezing temperatures again on Tuesday morning; the Obama supporters on the corner holding up a handwritten posterboard ("Yes WE can!") looked cold and miserable to me in the rain and I wanted to say to them, yes, you can, but you shouldn't -- go inside and get warmed up! By midday it had actually frozen and the iced up branches caught the tepid sunlight and made the trees glow.
