Houses Framed This Saturday

A house showing at 11:30 a.m. framed the first part of the day - cramming cleaning and laundry into the early hours, and then grocery shopping while we waited to return home. We fell in love with a new house, unoccupied so we could creep around the perimeter, gaping in windows; I showed it to David and Amy after we had Ros with them and as we were heading to the Malone Computer Lab where I would finish jurying movies while all four kids would play internet games, David was inspired enough by the house to decide to become an architect: such passion and in-the-moment commitment is right up my alley.
