Palm Sunday

Every year on Palm Sunday, Harry invites the congregation to testify and reminds us of the story of how the Pharisees tried to get Jesus to silence the people and he said that if he did the rocks would cry out; Harry always points to a rock that has been sitting in the sanctuary for a couple of weeks (and before that in front of the church) and says, so you better say something or the rocks are gonna freak us all out.

And the stories are always amazing because they are about how people's lives are broken but healing, suffering but retained, disappointing but hopeful; it's better than that, but so much better that two sentences can't manage it at all.
