And I Don't Regret It

After tweaking my to-do list, and dealing with those items whose priority could not possibly be postponed, I snuck to the movie theatre for a noontime matinee to see No Country For Old Men. After the kids were in bed, and while I was massaging Lynn's feet for a half-hour-12-days-Christmas-present, she clarified, "It's not that I mind you going to the movies at all, it's just that when you said over the phone that you weren't going to get to exercise, I thought, 'Oh no, his life is being dominated by the demands of others, all lined up outside his office door demanding attention; I don't mind at all, but the first thing I do if I get even the smallest break in a day? is exercise -- you go to the movies."
