Probably the highlight of the day was building snow people with Jaelyn and Addison -- the first time in their lives together when good pack snow has coincided with time and good health: fun.

Waiting and Snow People
I spent an unusual amount of time waiting yesterday - close to 30 minutes in a bizarre grocery checkout line and then an hour and a half as the ticket taker for my friends' Ray & Pamm's Fundraising Dinner to Adopt Shuo Bao - and it made me realize gratefully how powerful and privileged my life is -- that so little of my time is spent waiting in lines, and mostly the times when I am forced to wait, I have the ability to wait in comfort, within my pre-arranged schedule, and filling my time with work of my choosing.
Probably the highlight of the day was building snow people with Jaelyn and Addison -- the first time in their lives together when good pack snow has coincided with time and good health: fun.
