Catching Up...

Teaching was punctuated by Ruth's honors defense, a departmental search meeting, senate and touching base with a few advisees; at the end of the day I told Lynn that it felt like a good day, just because I was actually caught up and didn't have to begin each meeting with a "sorry, I don't have this done yet, but...". After roast chicken, couscous and roasted green beans we did the weeks grocery shopping, put the kids to bed and I went out for beers with Mark, whose dad just finally died.
