Pre-Surgery Cram

The day was crammed with preparatory tasks for missing two days of work for Jaelyn's surgery: planning a departmental chapel, creating a departmental newsletter / website, & grading 40 papers. The second snow day in a row degenerated into a predicted ice storm in Akron causing us to (with much ambivalence) cancel our meeting with Jaelyn's neurologist; the spiritual formation group fasted and prayed for Lynn's dad & family all day along with Jim & John's dads.
