Normalcy & Conformity & Accidental Partying

My morning was tightly wrapped in "normal" rhythms, routines, lectures, processes and procedures; on my office door, an ironically placed frig magnet that I bought in Normal, Illinois declares: "I love normal!" a more frank assessment of my perspective also adorns my door, a former greeting card that declares: "Conformity: Proudly Serving Painfully Boring People for Centuries." Because of a lapse in communication, plans were all rejiggered at the last moment and Lynn and I were able to hang out with our friends, Gary & Nicole, downtown at the fairly sweet jazz club and checking out a historic building that's being retrofitted for high end downtown lofts
