Being home with Jaelyn all morning was delightful, once the painkillers kicked in -- she was delightful: curious, diligent, amicable, and willing to entertain herself when I took her to work; I performed exit interviews for seniors -- she created an elaborate sponge-bob kite. Joe defended his honors thesis in the evening and I made it home just in time for a disappointing and tepid episode of the office: setup, setup....(wait for it)...setup.
