Peaceful Experiences on Chaotic Days

Still undefeated by the throat virus that threatens to sideline me, I soldiered through classes, grading and advising all morning and after a leisurely (yet action packed) final senate meeting for the semester, arrived home. Aaron had the kids on a long walk (his senior art show opens next week) instead of art lessons; when they returned we had a divided dinner, Caleb and I scarfing some delightful homemade tomato sauce (thanks Jamie Oliver!) while the kids mowed pesto -- all atop a quickly disappeared box of linguini; after tutoring and bedtime, it was time to finally and decisively e-file, an experience made delightful by turbo-tax (have I devolved to making corporate plugs on my personal blog?!).
