Open Frame Day

Classes felt like an interruption in this day that was all about pulling details together sans cmte (but with the capable help of Kerrie, our office administrator and her staff of student workers!), which was a decision I made last year -- to focus more on helping students make films instead of helping students plan events (the Open Frame Event) and it as been a switch that I both have Enjoyed and that I think has Payed Off in the quality of the films, BUT -- pulling together the whole event alone was a kicker. But the event went off without a hitch, lots of warm fuzzies in the air afterwards, and it was nice to slip away to Joe's downtown to hang out with Gary & Marc for a moment -- escape from the Malone Bubble.
