Disappointment on a Relaxed Day

I read liturgy at church, and we spent much of the afternoon re-assuring ourselves (pouring through the realty ads) that the house we'd had our hearts had indeed (as we discovered the night before) mysteriously and without any fanfare, sold. Otherwise there was grocery shopping and a family walk.
