The Last Saturday Before School

We won our first soccer game -- *destroyed*, in fact, a team coached by one of the local soccer-obsessive-legend-types. The rest of the day was just about readying for the kids first week of school, my first week of school and the beginning of Lynn's grad school (with a few meetings for her new job); the end of the day was the Malone kickoff event where, at one point, we looked over to see Jaelyn rescuing a younger child from a rapidly deflating balloon structure and then later to see Addison across the courtyard at the top of the climbing wall which he had, apparently climbed without our permission, supervision or observation -- apparently lassaiz faire parenting works at this age.
