The Unbearable Lightness of Being
I.T. calls to say that my hard drive is shot. Part of me feels zen and free and disemburdened - like my life has been rebooted without all the endless baggage - and then the other part remembers that the archives of four years of family photos have not been archived anywhere else - the perfect exemplar of the tension between freedom/lightness and engagement/heaviness.
