Inversion

It's amazing how you can think things are going well, but then you find out about something else and suddenly everything that did happen and that is happening looks and feels upside-down, walking-on-the-ceiling-strange. So at about 10 a.m. yesterday, I found out that I had missed a special showing of The Darjeeling Limited nearby which included a GUEST APPEARANCE BY WES ANDERSON HIMSELF; this insult/injury (of just missing it, just - not knowing) was compounded by the fact that I had received a GOOGLE ALERT about the event earlier in the week, but out of a sense of Duty to Grading had just trashed and ignored all of the google alerts that have been popping into my box all week.
