Two Distinct Chapters

Chapter One: Clean, clean, clean -- rake leaves, reduce clutter, scrub floors, sort shelves, fix lightswitches and window blinds, wipe windows, dust furniture, drop toys and clothes at thrift store, other goodies at Bodenschatzes, pick up Aaron to double our workpower, more raking, pruning, a run to the costume shop for a costume-fix it, and finally cook dinner (an embarrassing suburban-tasting knock off of thai basil chicken stir fry) before running off to chapter two.

Chapter Two: *A Few Frames* short film event downtown followed by a middle eastern dinner with one of the most intriguing and idiosyncratic tables full of (mostly) strangers (one friend and two acquaintances at the beginning of the night -- by the end? many more acquaintances leaning toward friends); Kim Ann not only cultivates the coolest short film series I can imagine for Stark County, but she also has an orbit of intriguing disciples: Weezy the cinephile legal receptionist, Larry the flaming and exciting friend-of-twenty years, Paul her 18 year boyfriend who only rarely offers words, but always offers her support, Frank the sci-fi documentary Film(not video!)maker, Sandy, the recently divorced but-eager-to-find-a-new-less-delusioned-life former montessori teacher, Ron, the five-movie-a-week former-machinist who just won a robotics competition and ended up in Hawaii (and there were more! that's just a sampling!).
