When Nights Are Better Than Days
Last night, as has been the case increasingly frequently in my dreams, the whole family took a long trip on the interstate, occasionally stopping at nice hotel to say hello to members of the extended family and old friends. During one of these sojourns we found ourselves at summer camp and, while running over the sand dunes, were surprised and delighted to find the familiar old (yet never actually seen before in real life) tin racing slides, complete with rickety old cars, curves, tunnels and room for a bunch of friends, but no tracks to guide the rollers, just sheer metal surfaces and screams of delight.
